Each engagement is purpose built, as no two clients are the same.
This includes structuring the work around our clients’ unique requirements, budget and specific circumstances.
We do not mandate certain equity contributions, contract structures or minimum fees. We believe in long-term, value aligned investment of resources and expertise alongside our ‘clients-partners’.
Ways in which we structure our fees include:
Consulting based (hourly rate)
Time-based billing mechanism as used by medical, legal and transaction professionals.
Project based (fixed fee)
A combination of hourly rate with guaranteed hours and resources required to complete a set project. A detailed scoping exercise precedes such engagement with work outside of the agreed scope charged separately.
Transaction based (% of transaction value)
Invoice based on hours worked on a monthly basis. On conclusion of a successful transaction, fees charged for work related to a specific transaction will be set off against a success fee ranging between 2 to 10% of the total transaction value i.e. a transaction value of R10m, will likely attract a success fee of 5% (R500 000), which will be reduced by total fees charged to date in respect of the transaction.
