Keith has been the managing director of Comline Attorneys Incorporated since its inception in 2012. We have provided business and corporate legal services which include restructuring of businesses and corporate groups, commercial transaction services and general commercial and corporate legal expertise to large and medium sized enterprises both within South Africa and internationally.

I have specific experience in corporate finance, shareholder and creditor agreements and engagements, the buying and selling of businesses and companies, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions and financial security agreements.

My career has combined corporate, entrepreneurial, corporate finance and professional service experience.

I hold a degree in Business Science from UCT and post graduate qualifications in Law (LLB) as well as an MBA with a focus on finance.
I am a qualified attorney (admitted in 2010) currently operating on the practicing role of attorneys at the Law Society of the Northern Provinces. I have 14 years of experience within the legal and corporate finance sectors and am motivated by providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to the restructuring of business operations and structures, the implementation of business strategy as well as analyzing and providing solutions for their management and operations.

Moreover, I have successfully held several executive level positions for several private entities, both independently as well as upon the request of his clients.

Career Highlights

  • Founding Trustee, Bokamoso Education Trust. This trust raises and invests finances for school fees and related expenditure to support the education of underprivileged children from pre-school ages to senior school graduation.
    Funding is sourced from both local and international corporates and individuals and the trust has over R5.5m assets under management with annual revenues of over R2.5m.
  • Foudning Trustee Edge Growth ESOP Trust. The trust provides financial incentive and reward to certain employees of its founding company.
  • Legal counsel for the restructuring of many companies in order to enable a tax efficient and value enhancing transaction for all shareholders and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Sale of distressed business in order to secure a sustainable turn-around strategy for the investors and shareholders of the business and managing the interests of various creditors, liquidation litigation and claims.

  • Developed and executed transactions with private equity investors and lenders into companies requiring financial assistance (via equity and/or debt investments) to sustain, maintain and/or grow their operations; which initiatives have created value for all shareholders and continued success of the organisations involved.
